Welcome fellow writers to the Guild! On this Forum we have some groundrules to keep this fun and hopefully productive. If in doubt ask yourself if your response to someone's post is Kind, Necessary, Informative or Helpful? If it isn't then don't post it. Remember behind each post is a realy person having the courage to share something they created and be vulnerable. Rules to Follow when Posting 1. At the moment keep it clean- I haven't set all the privacy and age settings up, so NO excessive violence, NO sex (sorry), and NO cursing. (Hopefully this will change). 2. Please post trigger warnings at the beginning of your piece. 3. For now please keep submissions to less than 1,000 words. 4. If your submission is part of a larger piece please give a story summary and what kind of feedback you are looking for, in less than 150 words. Rules to Follow when commenting and providing feedback 1. Make "Sh*t" sandwiches, I hear many people discuss this as disdainful, but we all need it. Start with what you really liked, what worked? Then move onto a constructive suggestion or criticism. Then finish up with another compliment. 2. Remember you are giving suggestions, not telling someone how to be creative. Make suggesstions, possible write in passive tense, ask questions. 3. No bullying, personal attacks, racist, anti-trans, anti- gay, anti-semitic, or cruel comments will be tolerated.
